Two outgoing postgraduates, with hardly any capital to invest but lots of determination and untamable spirit decided to launch a company from a single room. Yet to pass college, they chose to take the world on in their own way, with just their laptops and an internet connection, and of course, their dedication! They conceptualised a web development company that would provide quality services at customer-friendly pricing. Thus was born IV TECH SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS, the parent company of EMATRIX. Initially business was nothing more than creating websites for peers and acquaintances, and difficulties like inability to rent office-space, among many others, loomed large.
Conditions improved in 2016, when a professor helped them in renting a low-cost office in the commercial hub of the city. Leaving their friend’s room and restarting from their new office was not difficult for the now pass-outs, but setting up local clientele and overcoming the market pitfalls definitely were. However with utter hardwork and toil, the two founders were able to create a name for themselves.
Come 2017 and they welcomed a new partner to their firm, Aamir, who took reigns as chief technology officer and commendably brought customer-satisfaction into the scene. The determination and commitment-driven approach, together with the technical skills of both friends took the company to new heights. Increase in the magnitude of work prompted them to hire new talent and hence they started to increase the breadth of their company by recruiting able and competent professionals. The company was also rechristened as EMATRIX.
The head office was shifted to Mumbai just this year along with the inclusion of a new partner Anjum, who having witnessed the growth spurts of the company offered to join in and act as a lever for the company to soar even higher. He now presides over as the director. With barely a team of over a dozen members, EMATRIX stands tall as a budding startup, spanning offices from Srinagar to Mumbai and an experience of delivering to more than one hundred clients in less than 4 years, plus 3 IT products soon to be rolled out.
